The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Heriberto Hernandez offloaded 2,367 pounds of cocaine at Sector San Juan Aug. 28 following the interdiction of a go-fast vessel north of Puerto Rico August 25. PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A Coast Guardsman was found guilty of violating two articles of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice during a general court-martial that concluded Wednesday in Norfolk, Virginia. Petty Officer 3rd Class Bryan J. Sullivan, 32, was found guilty of one specification of Article 107 of the UCMJ – False Official Statement, and two specifications of Article 120 – Rape and Abusive Sexual Contact. Sullivan was sentenced to seven years confinement, reduction to the paygrade of E-1, total forfeiture of pay and allowances, and a dishonorable discharge.... [Read More]
