GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Port of Green Bay will hold its Tall Ships Festival from Friday through Sunday. The U.S. Coast Guard has established and will enforce a safety zone around each tall ship participating in the festival while navigating in the Great Lakes. Due to the limited maneuverability of the tall ships and to ensure safe steerage, all spectators and commercial vessels are required to maintain a distance of 300 feet from the ships at all times. PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard medevaced an ailing woman from a sailboat near Townsend Inlet Tuesday. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay received a call at 8 p.m. that a 22-year-old female was experiencing severe seasickness approximately 10 miles east of Townsend Inlet aboard the 55-foot sailboat Escapade. Sector Delaware Bay watchstanders conferred with the 5th District flight surgeon at 8:20 p.m., then launched a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Townsend Inlet at 8:45 p.m.... BOSTON — The Coast Guard responded to a grounded passenger sailing vessel during the Windjammer Regatta in Somes Sound, Maine, Tuesday afternoon.  At about 3:15 p.m., watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Southwest Harbor received a call from the crew aboard the American Eagle, a historic 79-foot Schooner, homeported in Rockland, Maine, that they ran aground. A 29-foot response boat crew from Station Southwest Harbor and a Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel were nearby providing safety patrols for the regatta, and they made their way toward American Eagle's location....
