SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard assisted three boaters after their vessel began taking on water 12 miles southwest of Point Loma, Tuesday. At approximately 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Diego's Joint Harbor Operations Center received a notification from a 26-foot pleasure craft reporting that there were three persons on board and the vessel was taking on water.
