NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Vermilion and Iberia Parish Sheriff Offices are searching for a missing boater in Vermilion Bay, Thursday. The missing boater is a 76-year-old male, described as Caucasian and having red hair, and blue eyes, wearing a blue button-up shirt, jeans, brown shoes and a brown hat. Watchstanders with Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a call at approximately 12:23 p.m. reporting an overturned vessel with two boaters in the water. NEW LONDON, Conn. – A Coast Guard Station New London boatcrew rescued a stranded swimmer off the Connecticut coast Thursday. Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound watchstanders received a report about the missing swimmer at approximately 10:00 p.m., Wednesday night. Sector Long Island Sound issued an urgent marine information broadcast to mariners, requesting they keep a look out for the swimmer. MIAMI — Three college students who were reported overdue were located aboard their disabled 21-foot vessel near Broad Creek, Florida, Thursday. BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard is scheduled to establish a temporary regulated area Thursday through Sunday off Ocean City for an annual air show.  The regulated area will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The regulated area will be from Talbot Street to 33rd Street, extending out approximately 500 yards and will be marked with yellow buoys.  Buoys marking the boundary zone for Coast Guard safety and enforcement patrol operations can be a visual reference for spectators setting up anchorage.... BOSTON — Crews from Coast Guard Station Burlington and Air Station Cape Cod are searching Wednesday evening, along with state and local agencies, for a missing 60-year-old man in Malletts Bay on Lake Champlain. ANCHORAGE, Alaska— A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak, Alaska, HC-130 Hercules air plane aircrew medevaced six people from Adak after an automobile accident in Atka, 100 miles east of Adak, Tuesday evening.
