NEW ORLEANS — The Mobile Fire and Rescue, and Coast Guard rescued two fishermen near Battleship Park, Alabama, Monday evening. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a call at approximately 8:13 p.m., reporting a father and son in the water after their canoe sank while crab fishing. BOSTON — The Coast Guard responded to three people aboard a disabled recreation boat about a mile east of Scituate Harbor on Monday.   Coast Guard Sector Boston received a distress call via cell phone from the crew aboard the boat at about 4:40 p.m. They reported the 19-foot boat had suffered a broken fuel pump. WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Coast Guard medevaced a woman Sunday from a sailboat moored at Sugarloaf Island near Morehead City.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector North Carolina in Wilmington received notification at approximately 8 p.m. from a 28-foot sailboat that a woman experiencing respiratory complications needed assistance.
