BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard suspended their search Tuesday for two missing boaters on the Severn River near Annapolis.
Coast Guard Sector Baltimore watchstanders received a report Tuesday at approximately 11 a.m. from Anne Arundel 911 dispatch personnel of a person in the water.
Anne Arundel 911 received the report from two bystanders on shore, stating the bystanders heard screaming and witnessed one person in the water go under and not resurface.... [Read More]

SEATTLE — Coast Guard crews rescued a 55-year-old male who had been clinging to his overturned kayak for three and a half hours in Baker Bay east of Ilwaco, Sunday.
An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria in Warrenton, Oregon, hoisted the kayaker after spotting him in the bay around 8 p.m. and safely transferred him in good condition to waiting emergency medical service personnel at the air station.... [Read More]

HONOLULU — Search efforts continue Monday for 12 Marine aviators off the North Shore of Oahu.
Air, surface and shoreline assets are actively searching for the survivors and cataloging debris. Of the four life rafts confirmed to be aboard the two aircraft all have been sighted and three have been recovered. Two assets are working to recover the fourth today, sighted Sunday evening north of Kahuku by a good Samaritan. SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 36-year-old man approximately 150 miles west of San Diego, Sunday.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. Sunday, watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Diego received a report from the crew of the 93-foot passenger vessel Craig G stating that a male passenger had sustained a severe leg injury and needed assistance.

An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria in Warrenton, Ore., hoists two mariners from a 52-foot Canadian-flagged sailing vessel 5 miles west of Westport, Wash., Jan. 16, 2016.
The mariners had been underway for 10 days and were unable to return to port due to unsafe bar conditions and mechanical problems.
