WARRENTON, Ore. — Coast Guard aircrews assisted several national and local agencies to search for a woman and her 32-year-old husband, who was reported to have fallen into a crevasse on Mt. Jefferson Monday.

HOUSTON — A Coast Guard boat crew medevaced a 12-year-old boy from a cruise ship 10 miles offshore Galveston, Sunday evening.
At 4:30 p.m. Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a request from the crew of the cruise ship Caribbean Princess for the medevac of a passenger suffering from abdominal pains.
Watchstanders launched a Station Galveston 45-foot boat crew with Galveston EMS personnel aboard which arrived on scene at 5:25 p.m. and picked up the boy and his his two relatives. ... [Read More]

BOSTON - Coast Guard crews ensured a successful salvage operation of a 42-foot fishing vessel Saturday after it sank in about 70 feet of water at its mooring ball on Friday in Stonington, Maine.Weather and nightfall prevented safe operations Friday, and salvage efforts resumed Saturday at 6 a.m. The fishing vessel has been successfully raised, de-watered, and dry docked at Billings Marina.No injuries or significant pollution was reported.Initially after sinking, a small sheen was observed in the area, as seepage from the ship's vents was suspected.... BOSTON — Coast Guard emergency crews medically evacuated an injured fisherman near Gloucester Saturday.A Station Gloucester boat crew was nearby on patrol when they received a call from the Sector Boston Command Center stating the operator aboard the fishing vessel Webb II had suffered a severe hand injury and was requesting medical attention.The Coast Guard crew diverted the 29-foot Response Boat Small to the scene. MANASQUAN INLET, N.J. — The Coast Guard, good Samaritans and local partner agencies responded to an overturned vessel with seven people aboard Friday in Manasquan Inlet.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Manasquan Inlet received a call at approximately 1:30 p.m., via marine radio Channel 16 of an overturned pontoon vessel in Manasquan Inlet.
A 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew from Station Manasquan Inlet and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City responded to the vessel in distress.... [Read More]

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Coast Guard rescue crews are searching the Atlantic Ocean Thursday for a missing crew member suspected of having gone overboard from the 252-foot Chilean-flagged cargo vessel Berkay N during the vessel’s transit north of Puerto Rico.
Missing is Luis Leyva Aliaga, 62, a Chilean national and First Engineer aboard the Berkay N, after he did not report to his scheduled watch at 4 a.m. Thursday and the crew was unable to locate him onboard.
