NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound is scheduled to once again open the historic Stratford Point Lighthouse for public tours on Saturday. The lighthouse, located at 1275 Prospect Drive, Stratford, Connecticut, will be open for public tours from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. rain or shine.   SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard rescued three boaters from the water approximately one mile west of Carslbad, California, Thursday. At 2 p.m. Thursday, watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Diego received a distress call from the 19-foot recreational vessel Sasquatch, reporting they were taking on water and the bilge pumps were unable to keep up. MIAMI — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter William Trump repatriated 50 Cuban migrants to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba, Monday. This repatriation is a result of five separate interdictions at sea in the south Florida Straits. These events all consisted of Cubans attempting to illegally enter the United States on unseaworthy vessels commonly referred to as "rustics" or "chugs."
