HONOLULU – Coast Guard Station Honolulu rescued a 20-year-old-man after his nine foot boat capsized one mile off Pearl Harbor about 2:55 p.m. today.
Watchsanders at Coast Guard Sector Honolulu received a garbled transmission over VHF Channel 16 only indicating a location of Pearl Harbor. The Coast Guard aircrew transferred the surfer to an emergency medical response helicopter crew, who flew him to Portland, Ore., for treatment.

TILLAMOOK, Ore. — A Coast Guard aircrew rescued a surfer who was reportedly drifting in and out of consciousness near Cape Kiwanda, Sunday afternoon.
An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, hoisted the 22-year-old man around 1:00 p.m. and transported him to the Pacific City Airport, where he was met by an emergency medical response helicopter and taken to a hospital in Portland for treatment.... [Read More]

LOS ANGELES – The Coast Guard medevaced an individual experiencing symptom of shock after previously falling overboard from a passenger vessel, 6 miles off Anacapa Island, Sunday.

HONOLULU – The Coast Guard is seeking the public's help in identifying the owner of an adrift green kayak spotted one mile north of Lumahai Beach, Kauai, today.Watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector Honolulu Command Center received a report about 8:10 a.m., from the tour boat Anini indicating they had located and recover an unmanned adrift green kayak.

BOSTON — Coast Guard rescue crews from Station Menemsha on Martha's Vineyard and a member from The Center for Coastal Studies freed an entangled Leatherback turtle near Nomans Land, Massachusetts, Friday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Southeast New England received a call shortly after 6 a.m. from the center stating a turtle was caught in a lobster pot.

WARRENTON, Ore. — Investigating officers from Coast Guard Sector Columbia River, in Warrenton initiated civil penalties against seven individuals, Thursday, who interfered with the safe operation of the vessel Fennica on the Willamette River near Portland.
Elizabeth Mount, Benjamin Reynoso, Michael Luurtsema, Katharine Loncke, Mark Floegel, Caroline Hansley and Sharon Spencer were issued and will receive notices of violation for interfering with the safe operation of a vessel on July 30, in violation of the U.S. Code.... [Read More]

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — The Coast Guard suspended the active on-water search for a possible missing paddle boarder in South Lake Tahoe, Thursday.
The Coast Guard will continue to coordinate closely with local law enforcement as they work to locate and determine the identity of the missing person.
