JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Coast Guard medevacked a 60-year-old male Saturday from the University of South Carolina Bluffton.
Coast Guard Sector Charleston received a report from local emergency medical services at 12:12 p.m. a man was suffering from chest pains.
EMS was on scene but unable to transport the man to the hospital due to poor road conditions.
A Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Savanna conducted the medevac and took the man to Savannah Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
