BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard and Maryland Natural Resources Police are searching for a 64-year-old man Tuesday in the Choptank River near Oxford.
Coast Guard Sector Baltimore watchstanders received a report Monday at approximately 8:30 p.m. from MNRP personnel of a boat washing up on shore.
A Coast Guard boat crew aboard a 29-foot Response Boat - Small launched from Station Oxford to aid MNRP in search efforts.
The Coast Guard and MNRP personnel searched throughout the night.
Currently searching are boat crews from Station Annapolis, Station Oxford, MNRP and a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City, New Jersey.
