DEPOE BAY, Ore. — A Coast Guard boat crew rescued a woman who had fallen in the water at the Depoe Bay Bar entrance, Saturday.The 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew from Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay used a heaving line to reach the woman and bring her on board, safely transporting her back to station and transferring her to waiting emergency medical personnel, who took her to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City.Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector North Bend received the initial report at 11:49 a.m. from Lincoln County Dispatch personnel, about a person seen in the water near the Depoe Bay entrance. Along with the MLB crew, an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Facility Newport responded.

Weather was reported as clear , with 7-mph winds and an air temperature of 60 F.
