MOBILE, Ala. – The Coast Guard, alongside U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, the National Park Service, Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, and Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, are searching for a 15-year old boy who went missing off Ship Island, Monday.Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Mobile were notified at approximately 5:15 p.m. Sunday that the teenager was missing and in response dispatched the following assets to aid in the search:A 45-foot Response Boat - Medium boat crew from Coast Guard Station Gulfport;
A MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans;
A HC144-Ocean Sentry fixed-wing aircraft crew from Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile.
The boy was last seen drifting Northwest from Buoy 26 in the Gulfport ship Channel.
