MIAMI – The Coast Guard suspended its search Sunday at 8 p.m. for a possible person in the water near Juno Beach.Coast Guard rescue crews searched the areas around Juno Beach with no sighting of a person in distress.Watch standers from the Coast Guard Sector Miami Command Center received a mayday call Saturday at approximately 9:38 p.m. The watch standers issued an urgent marine information broadcast and directed the launch of the Coast Guard Cutter Bluefin crew, a Coast Guard Station Lake Worth Inlet boat crew and a Coast Guard Air Station Miami MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew.Sector Miami was notified by a good Samaritan of an 8-foot grey dinghy ashore on Juno Beach with signs of recent use and no markings.Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Sector Miami Command Center at 305-535-4472.
