WILMINGTON, N.C. – Coast Guard Station Wrightsville Beach will host a media day today at 1:30 p.m. where crew members will discuss key boating safety topics for Labor Day weekend.
The topics include communications/signaling devices, weather awareness, boating sober, float plans, and life jackets. The end of the event will involve a boat ride along (weather and operations permitting).
