Multimedia release: Coast Guard Station Quillayute River hosts memorial ceremony

Coast Guard Station Quillayute River members honor the 44-foot Motor Life Boat 44363 crew in a memorial that concluded with a wreath laying ceremony in La Push, Wash., Feb. 12, 2016.

The crew of MLB 44363 lost their lives on this day in 1997 while responding to a distress call from a dismasted sailboat in heavy sea conditions.

A ceremony was held in honor of Petty Officer 2nd Class David Bosley, Petty Officer 3rd Class Matthew Schlimme and Seaman Clinton Miniken, who lost their lives while responding to a distress call Feb. 12, 1997.
