ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Coast Guard's Rescue 21 system has been fully repaired since its outage Sunday.
The system experienced an outage due to equipment failure from the Florida Panhandle to Everglades City, Florida.
The Coast Guard's ability to receive and transmit on VHF-FM channel 16 has been fully restored and is capable of responding to radio calls of mariners in distress.
