Photo Release: Coast Guard, officials conduct landslide damage assessment of Sitka, Alaska

Alaska Governor Bill Walker assesses the extent of damages caused by landslides in Sitka, Alaska, during an overflight aboard a Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter Aug. 19, 2015.

Air Station Sitka personnel assisted with assessment and recovery efforts and flew National Forest Service soil and water experts, Sitka Mountain Rescue personnel and elected officials over the landslide sites.
