MIAMI — A boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Miami responded to a plane that crashed in the water at Haulover Beach, Florida, Tuesday morning.Coast Guard 7th District Command Center watchstanders received notification from a good Samaritan at approximately 11:36 a.m. via VHF-FM radio that the single prop engine plane crashed and was sinking approximately 40-feet off Haulover Beach.Watchstanders quickly launched a Coast Guard Station Miami 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew to assist as needed.
