
GALVESTON, Texas — Search and rescue professionals and media are invited to the 2015 Search and Rescue Workgroup hosted by Coast Guard Sector Field Office Galveston, Texas, on Wednesday.
WHO: The Coast Guard and state and local search and rescue agencies
WHAT: Search and Rescue Workgroup for professionals to discuss capabilities, discuss best practices, build partnerships and watch Coast Guard helicopter and boat training; Coast Guard personnel will be available for media interviews
WHEN: Wednesday, April 8, 2015, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; search and rescue training is scheduled to commence at 12:45 p.m.
