HOUSTON — A Coast Guard aircrew is en route to a fishing boat 88 miles southeast of Galveston, to medevac a 52-year-old man suffering from vomiting and seizures Thursday morning.
At 7:21 a.m., the captain of the Mystical Sea notified Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders that the crewmember was experiencing the symptoms and needed assistance.
Watchstanders launched an Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and crew to evacuate the man and an Air Station Corpus Christi HC-144 Ocean Sentry airplane aircrew to provide additional safety and communications support.
