LOS ANGELES – The Coast Guard medically evacuated a man near Channel Islands Harbor Sunday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles received a report at 8:10 a.m., from the operator aboard the 60-foot sport fisher vessel, Pacific Eagle, of a 47-year-old male suffering from dehydration and other health issues.
A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat — Medium boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Channel Islands, along with a paramedic from Ventura County Fire responded and safely transferred the man to Channel Islands Harbor.
