Photo Release: Coast Guard, City of Astoria break ground on new military housing expansion in Astoria, Ore.

The housing project is projected to cost approximately $9 million will improve infrastructure provide 12 new homes to the existing Coast Guard neighborhood.

The original housing units were built in 1995 and the new units will match the same style but allow for modern updates.
