NEW ORLEANS – The Army Corps of Engineers has opened Lock and Dam 25 on the upper Mississippi River near St. Louis, Wednesday.
An estimated 50 gallons of diesel was discharged into Lock and Dam 25. Environmental Restoration crews have completed cleanup operations in response to the spill.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
