UPDATE, VIDEO AVAILABLE: Coast Guard medevacs woman, 63, 39 miles northeast of Hatteras, NC

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — The Coast Guard medevaced a 63-year-old woman Monday from a cruise ship 39 miles northeast of Hatteras.Sector North Carolina watch standers received a report at 7:30 a.m. that a woman aboard the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship was suffering from chest pains.At 8:13 a.m., an HH-60T Medium Range Recovery Helicopter crew launched from Air Station Elizabeth City to medevac the injured woman. The helicopter crew arrived on scene at 8:40 a.m. and transferred the woman, her husband and a nurse to the helicopter.The helicopter crew arrived at 9:47 a.m at the Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head where the woman was transferred to awaiting EMS personnel.
