ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City's command thanks the South Jersey community Tuesday for their continued support.
Cmdr. Sean O'Brien, the executive officer of the air station, said his unit's partnership with the community is essential.
In 2015, crew members from the air station saved 40 lives, responded to 150 search and rescue cases and conducted 145,000 maintenance labor hours.
"The men and women of your local Coast Guard could not complete their mission without this tremendous partnership," said O'Brien. "Thank you and happy holidays."
