Photo Release: Coast Guard continues search for missing crewmembers near Chukotka, Russia

Crews from the Coast Guard Cutters Munro and Alex Haley, both with Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-65 Dolphin helicopters embarked, search the Bering Sea for missing crewmembers from the South Korean fishing vessel 501 Oryong Dec. 5, 2014.

The search included two cutters, two helicopters and multiple HC-130 Hercules airplanes from Air Station Kodiak.

A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules airplane flies over the Coast Guard Cutter Munro as the crews of both assets search for missing crew members of the South Korean fishing vessel 501 Oryong in the Bering Sea Dec. 5, 2014.

Republic of Korea Navy P-3 Orion airplanes arrived in Anchorage to take over maritime patrol aircraft responsibilities in the search.

As of Dec. 7, 2014, Coast Guard air and surface assets completed 22 searches, covering 6,000 square miles.
