Following a distress call on VHF-FM channel 16 the Dolphin crew arrived on scene 41 miles northeast of Oahu’s North Shore and hoisted the three people and their dog safely into the helicopter before returning to Air Station Barbers Point.

The MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew arrived on scene 41 miles northeast of Oahu’s North Shore and hoisted the three people and their dog from a life raft safely into the helicopter before returning to the air station.

The master of the 70-foot vessel Brandi Anne issues a mayday call over VHF-FM channel 16 requesting Coast Guard assistance as his vessel sinks 41 miles northeast of Oahu, Hawaii, Aug. 9, 2015.

Coast Guard crews from Sector Honolulu responded to the call and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew successfully rescued the crew of the Brandi Anne and delivered them to Air Station Barbers Point safely.
