    ASTORIA, Ore. – The Coast Guard Cutter Alert returned Monday following a three month that stretched from the waters of Mexico to Canada. SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard medically evacuated an 80-year-old woman from a cruise ship approximately 35 miles west of Point Loma Friday. At approximately midnight Friday, watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Diego received a call from the crew of the cruise ship Carnival Imagination that an 80-year-old female passenger had hit her head and was experiencing severe headaches and nausea. PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A towboat that sank in the Neches River Aug. 21, and caused a temporary closure of the waterway, was successfully lifted out of the water Wednesday Evening. T&T Marine, a contractor hired by the towboat company, refloated and towed the towboat Louise to Bolivar Barge Cleaning Service. The vessel was dry-docked and is awaiting inspection and potential repairs. SEATTLE — The Coast Guard medevaced an injured fisherman south of San Juan Island, Thursday morning. The fisherman was transported to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles in stable condition. A watchstander at Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound received a radio call via VHF-FM channel 16 at about 7:40 a.m., from the captain of the fishing vessel Mr. Wonderful reporting the injury.
