BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard has suspended its search Thursday for a missing teenager near Mount Vernon, Virginia. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Baltimore received a call on VHF marine radio channel 16 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday from a Fairfax County Fire department boat crew member stating they lost sight of a teenager while responding to a call of the swimmer having trouble. NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard has responded to a report of a natural gas pipeline fire, 25 miles south of Marsh Island, Wednesday.Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received notification at 8:30 p.m. that a natural gas pipeline had ruptured and was on fire. CRESCENT BEACH, Fla. — The Coast Guard is searching for two boaters who abandoned ship, Wednesday, approximately three miles off the coast of Crescent Beach, Florida. Watchstanders in the Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville, Florida, command center were notified of the situation at 5:48 p.m., by a VHF radio call from the boat operator. SEATTLE — The Coast Guard suspended the active search for a female diver who went missing off Duncan Rock near Cape Flattery, Wednesday evening. CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Coast Guard rescued a man Wednesday northeast of Cape Charles. Coast Guard Sector Hampton Roads watchstanders received a distress call stating a man aboard the 54-foot fishing vessel Cassandra was experiencing intense pain and difficulty breathing.   An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew launched from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina. DALY CITY, Calif. — A Coast Guard aircrew rescued a woman from a cliff in Daly City Wednesday morning.  Wednesday at 2:40 a.m., Coast Guard Sector San Francisco watchstanders received a report of a man and woman trapped on a cliff  with their two dogs.  The man reportedly climbed up the cliff face to safety and called for help.  The woman and her two dogs remained trapped as local residents and the Daly City Fire Department personnel continued rescue efforts. ... NEW YORK – The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Sailfish responded to a disabled fishing vessel approximately 75 miles east of Manasquan, New Jersey, Monday. Watchstanders at Sector New York command center in Staten Island, received notification of an 82-foot fishing vessel in distress and requesting Coast Guard assistance. SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is continuing its search for Lynn Flaherty, a diver reported missing off Duncan Rock near Cape Flattery. The Coast Guard has searched more than 290 square miles and 1,028 miles of trackline as of 9 a.m. Flaherty, a 61 year-old female who was last known to be wearing a dry suit, is reported to be experienced with more than 2,100 dives and is equipped with a personal locator beacon, VHF-FM radio and a dive buoy....
