SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 30-year-old man from a passenger vessel approximately 62 miles west of San Diego, Saturday.
At approximately 3:22 p.m., the crew of the 32-foot Intimidator requested assistance from Coast Guard Sector San Diego for a man who was suffering from possible kidney stones.
A Sector MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew launched and safely hoisted the man once on scene.... [Read More]

MOBILE, Ala. — The Coast Guard closed the Biloxi Industrial Seaway in Gulfport, Miss., due to a landslide, Saturday.
The Biloxi Industrial Seaway in the vicinity of the Lorraine Bridge is closed to all traffic.
The Coast Guard was notified at approximately 5:20 p.m. that the channel was entirely blocked by trees and other debris. The area experienced heavy rainfall near the time of the incident.... [Read More]

CLEVELAND — Coast Guard and the Grosse Point Police Department personnel rescued two people from Lake St. Clair near Windmill Point near Grosse Point, Michigan, Saturday.
The names of the rescued individuals are not being released by the Coast Guard and there is no imagery for this case.
At about 3 p.m., Saturday Grosse Point Dispatch notified the Coast Guard about two people in the water after their 14-foot pleasure craft capsized off of Windmill Point.... [Read More]

HARTFORD, Ill.—The Coast Guard has re-opened the Mississippi River from MM 160 to MM 195, Saturday.
Coast Guard Sector Upper Mississippi River watchstanders were notified that an underwater pipeline ruptured at the Phillips 66-operated terminal rear MM 194 at 9:15 a.m., Friday.
Personnel from the Coast Guard, Phillips 66 and oil spill response organizations are on scene doing shoreline assessments and recovery efforts.

BOSTON — Rescue crews from the Coast Guard Cutter Legare are towing the 61-foot fishing vessel Angela Michelle to land today after their anchor line became wrapped around their rudder and propeller about 115 miles east of Gloucester, Massachusetts.

CAPE MAY, N.J. ─ The crew of the 87-foot Coast Guard Cutter Mako held a change-of-command ceremony Friday at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May.
During the ceremony, Master Chief Petty Officer William D. Hollandsworth relinquished command of the coastal patrol boat and crew to Master Chief Petty Officer Eric T. Lepley.

HARTFORD, Ill. — The Coast Guard in coordination with Phillips 66 is responding to a report of a diesel fuel spill in the Cahokia Canal in the upper Mississippi River, Friday.
The Mississippi River is closed from MM 160 to MM 195.

SEATTLE — Coast Guard crews escorted the Victoria Clipper passenger ferry to Seattle following a reported electrical fire aboard the vessel near Port Townsend, Thursday.
