WARRENTON, Ore. — The Coast Guard rescued a 59-year-old man who injured his arm near the Umqua River jetty outside of Winchester Bay.The man, who suffered a severe injury to his arm, was transported back to Coast Guard Station Umpqua River where he was met by local emergency medical services and then transported man to local urgent care.Station Umpqua River watchstanders received the request for assistance from the operator of the 29-foot pleasure craft stating that he injured his arm after being hit by a wave.... Sector North Carolina watchstanders received a report at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday of two people stranded on a marshy island in the Lockwood Folly River. NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard rescued three people from a sinking vessel near Dulac, Saturday, October 8, 2016.  Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a report at 9:42 p.m. of a vessel that was taking on water near Terrebonne Bay. SAN FRANCISCO — The Coast Guard, partner agencies and good Samaritans responded to a sailboat that capsized in San Francisco near Pier 45 with 30 people aboard Saturday evening. All people aboard the Khaleesi, a 34-foot recreational sailboat, are reported to have been accounted for at Pier 45. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Coast Guard medevacked a 60-year-old male Saturday from the University of South Carolina Bluffton. Coast Guard Sector Charleston received a report from local emergency medical services at 12:12 p.m. a man was suffering from chest pains. EMS was on scene but unable to transport the man to the hospital due to poor road conditions.
