Exceptionally strong rip currents and large shore breaks are anticipated to impact all west and northwest-facing beaches from Sonoma County to Monterey County. MOBILE, Ala. – Two good Samaritan vessels rescued seven people from an overturned catamaran south of Dauphin Island, Saturday. The good Samaritan vessel, Sixth Frau, notified watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Mobile at approximately 11:25 a.m., of an overturned 25-foot catamaran with seven people in the water approximately 17 miles south of Dauphin Island.
