PETERSBURG, Fla. — Eight people were rescued by a Coast Guard crew, a good Samaritan and a Tow Boat US crew after the 22-foot boat they were aboard began taking on water and sank approximately one miles southeast of Sanibel in San Carlos Bay, Florida, Monday. NEW YORK – The Coast Guard and Middletown Police Department rescued a recreational boater in distress near Port Monmouth, New Jersey, Monday.
