BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard rescued two boaters Sunday near Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse in Annapolis.Watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector Baltimore received a call at approximately 3 p.m., stating two males were aboard a sinking boat.A 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Annapolis and crews from Maryland Natural Resources Police and Maryland State Police launched to assist.The 45-foot MLB crew arrived on scene and located the boaters approximately 20 minutes later.... Crew members from Coast Guard Air Station Traverse City, Mich., transfer an ill man from an MH-65C Dolphin helicopter to emergency medical services at the air station Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014.
The man was medically evacuated from Beaver Island in Lake Michigan after suffering from signs of a stroke.

PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 25-year-old man was rescued from the water after his kayak overturned three miles off Anclote Key, Florida Sunday.Pasco County Sheriff's Office contacted watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg after receiving a 911 call reporting the male has overturned his kayak and could not re-right it.... BOSTON — Coast Guard rescue crews assisted a fishing crew aboard a flooding boat 40 miles east of Isle of Shoals, Maine, Sunday.
Watchstanders at the Sector Northern New England Command Center in Portland, Maine received a call at approximately 5:05 a.m. via VHF radio from the crew aboard the Two Megs reporting their engine room was flooded.
Rescue crews aboard a MH-60 Jayhawk Helicopter and a HC-144 Ocean Sentry Aircraft were launched from Air Station Cape Cod, Massachusetts. A good Samaritan aboard the fishing vessel the Rachel T also arrived on scene to help.
