SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is searching for a U.S. Navy sailor missing in Crescent Harbor on the east side of Whidbey Island, Saturday afternoon. The sailor, 33-year-old male assigned to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, went missing after his boat broke apart in Crescent Harbor. A watchstander at Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound, in Seattle, received a report of one person in the water at 1:40 p.m. A woman aboard the boat safely swam ashore and reported the incident and the missing person.... MIAMI — The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Raymond Evans repatriated 36 Cuban migrants to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba Friday. This repatriation is a result of four separate migrant interdictions at sea in a span of a week, beginning Aug. 1. The Cuban migrants were trying to illegally enter the United States on unseaworthy vessels commonly referred to as "rustics" or "chugs." MOBILE, Ala.  – The Coast Guard has suspended their search for the person missing near Dauphin Island, Thursday. Coast Guard crews covered more than 480 square miles during the search after receiving a report that 30-year-old Daniel Sewell had gone missing from Fort Gaines where he had planned to go swimming. NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard, Causeway Police and the St. Tammany Sheriff’s Office are searching for a person who jumped from the Causeway Bridge into Lake Pontchartrain, Thursday night. HOUSTON — Coast Guard watchstanders were notified Thursday that a body was located in the vicinity of a search they coordinated Wednesday near San Leon, Texas. Coast Guard helicopter crews searched by air as Texas City police and fire department crews searched by boat and on shore Wednesday after a man reported that he couldn't locate his son, 26-year-old Danny Joseph Kenney.
