PHILADELPHIA — The Coast Guard medevaced a man near Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, Saturday. The New Jersey State Police contacted watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Cape May at about 1 p.m. reporting a 57-year-old man aboard a 25-foot recreational boat suffered a head injury near Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. Station Cape May launched a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew to assist. The boat crew arrived on scene four minutes after receiving the initial notification and transported the man to awaiting emergency medical personnel at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May.... NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard suspended the search for a missing person in the water on the Upper Mississippi River near mile marker 175, near Reidy Terminals, Missouri, Thursday. The search for the 29-year-old man was suspended at 9:49 p.m., Thursday after the Coast Guard and local agencies searched from mile marker 149 to mile marker 175 for approximately 17 hours.
