CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Coast Guard air and boat crews responded to a fishing boat with an internal water leak and medevaced the captain due to carbon monoxide poisoning 6 miles off Port Aransas inlet, Sunday night.
The captain of the 89-foot fishing boat, Redemption, called Sector Corpus Christi watchstanders at approximately 10:50 p.m., stating that they were taking on water from a damaged onboard potable water tank.... [Read More]

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew medevaced an ailing mariner from the fishing vessel Unimak near Dutch Harbor, Monday morning.

BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard and local partner agencies responded to a boat crash involving 3 mariners in Whitehall Creek in Annapolis on Sunday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Maryland-National Capital Region received a report from Anne Arundel County Fire dispatch at approximately 10:45 p.m. stating a woman was standing in her back yard and heard people screaming for help in the nearby creek.

JUNEAU, Alaska— Coast Guard Sector Juneau, along with multiple good Samaritan vessels rescued 18 people from the 35-foot whale-watching motor vessel Big Red in Favorite Channel near Juneau, Sunday afternoon.
All 16 passengers and two crewmembers were recovered and embarked onto motor vessel St. Herman, with the help of recreational vessel See You, and transported to Allen Marine Dock to await Coast Guard and emergency medical personnel. There was one knee injury reported.... [Read More]

LOS ANGELES – The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 44-year-old female near Anacapa Island Sunday.Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach received a report at 2:20 p.m., from the operator of a 64-foot commercial passenger vessel, reporting that a female aboard was showing signs of diabetic complications. A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat- Medium from Coast Guard Station Channel Islands Harbor, along with a paramedic from Ventura County Fire arrived on scene and safely transferred the woman to Channel Islands Harbor where EMS was waiting.... BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard assisted four boaters Saturday after their boat began taking on water outside Bear Creek near Baltimore.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Maryland-National Capital Region received a report from TowBoatUS stating a 24-foot vessel with four people aboard was taking on water.
Sector Maryland-NCR issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boat crew from Coast Guard Station Curtis Bay.

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard has suspended the search for the five-year-old boy missing in the water near mile marker 49 of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Sunday.
LaFourche Parish Sheriff’s Office recovered a body matching the description of the missing five-year-old boy at mile marker 49 of the Gulf ICW, Sunday morning.
Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a call at 11:18 p.m., Saturday, about a five-year-old boy missing in the water, who was described as a Caucasian male wearing a blue and white life jacket.

BOSTON — Coast Guard Station Chatham crewmembers medevaced an injured fisherman Saturday night near the entrance of Great Round Shoal.
A person aboard the fishing boat Illusion, which was about 30 miles east of Nantucket en route to its homeport of New Bedford, contacted Coast Guard watchstanders Saturday and reported a crewmember suffered a severe hand laceration and required immediate medical attention.
