PHILADELPHIA – The Coast Guard has suspended their search for a missing swimmer off Bradley Beach, N.J, at 7:55 p.m. Sunday. The multi-agency search efforts covered 248-square miles, and involved the Bradley Police Department, Belmar Water Rescue Team and the New Jersey State Police. PONCE DE LEON, Fla. — The Coast Guard medevacked a woman Sunday near Disappearing Island after she became unconscious. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville were notified at 2:07 p.m. a 39-year-old woman was unconscious. A Coast Guard 24-foot Rescue Boat crew from Station Ponce de Leon was in the area and diverted to the scene at 2:20 p.m. The woman was transported to Ponce Inlet to awaiting EMS personnel who took her to Halifax Health Care Systems. BOSTON — A crew from Coast Guard Station Boston rescued six people Sunday morning after their boat sank near Castle Island in Dorchester Bay. At approximately 1:30 a.m., watchstanders at Sector Boston received notification from the Massachusetts State Police stating they received a distress call via 911 of a boat sinking in Dorchester Bay.
