PHILADELPHIA — The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle is scheduled to arrive Thursday at Penn’s Landing at approximately 4 p.m. as part of the 2015 cadet summer training deployment.  The Eagle will be open for free public tours Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. At 295 feet in length, the Eagle is the largest tall ship flying the stars and stripes and the only active square-rigger in U.S. government service.... PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Coast Guard is warning the public that pointing handheld lasers at Coast Guard boat and aircrews is dangerous and illegal. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Panama City received a report Sunday evening at 6:48 p.m. of a disabled 15-foot Jon Boat with four people on board, a 50-year-old father and his three children, who had lost communications with his wife on shore. NEW YORK – The Coast Guard apprehended an intoxicated boater Saturday near Montauk Inlet, New York. At approximately 9:00 p.m. a boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Montauk conducted a safety boarding of a 50-foot fishing vessel approximately half a mile from Montauk Inlet.
