KODIAK, Alaska — A Coast Guard Station Juneau boatcrew assisted three boaters stranded on Bird Island near Juneau, Alaska, Friday. The Station Juneau boatcrew recovered all three men and raft from Bird Island and transported them to Amalaga Harbor. Coast Guard Sector Juneau watchstanders received notification from the men that they were stranded on the island due to weather and had limited survival gear.
