JUNEAU, Alaska — A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter crew forward deployed to Cordova, Alaska, medevaced an injured man from Worthington Glacier, approximately 50 miles north of Cordova Saturday.  The Jayhawk crew safely hoisted the 38-year-old male and transported him to Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.... NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard, Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator’s Office and ECM Maritime Services continue to respond to an oil discharge near Bay Long, Louisiana, Saturday. Operations to safely repair the damaged section of the pipeline are underway. More than 6,000 gallons of oily-water mixture have been recovered. MIAMI — The Coast Guard suspended their search Friday for a missing diver southwest of Marquesas Key. The 46-year-old man was reported missing on VHF Channel 16 about 12 p.m. Wednesday by a friend after the diver failed to return from a dive approximately 9 miles southwest of Marquesas Key. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — The Coast Guard returned 17 Cuban migrants to the Dominican Republic Friday evening following an interdiction in the Mona Passage by Caribbean Border Interagency Group law enforcement authorities Thursday morning. SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is seeking assistance in locating an overdue boater last seen entering Friday Harbor, Thursday morning.  Ira Rote, 75, was last seen aboard his 16-foot wooden antique boat, white, green and red in color, named Small Fry. Rotes destination is unknown, but is believed to be any Washington or British Columbian harbor in the vicinity of the San Juan Islands. MIAMI – The Coast Guard repatriated 85 Cuban migrants to Bahia de Cabañas, Cuba, since Monday. The Coast Guard Cutter Raymond Evans repatriated 14 Cuban migrants Monday. The Coast Guard Cutter William Trump repatriated 25 Cuban migrants Wednesday and 46 Cuban migrants Thursday. These repatriations are a result of eight separate at-sea interdictions in the South Florida Straits. HOUSTON — A man wearing a lifejacket and clinging to his overturned kayak in Christmas Bay, about 10 miles northeast of Freeport, was hoisted to safety by a Coast Guard helicopter crew at 5:51 p.m. Thursday.
